Our Beers
Rambler Ale Blonde Ale (6.2% ABV)

Brewed in fond remembrance of the family’s candy-apple red Rambler. Adelbert’s Rambler Ale evokes the car Del and his buddies referred to back in the late 60’s as the “GoMobile”. Back when life was freer and easier, the local cream ale was no stranger inside the Rambler as it hosted myriad road trips and hot dates.

Moderate strength, light-tasting ale, with a clear appearance and subtle Belgian complexities.  Pairs well with a wide range of foods such as cheese, chicken, or even spicy dishes.

Scratchin' Hippo Bière de Garde (6.9% ABV)

Named to commemorate a night when the Naivasha House in Kenya was shaking so strongly Del thought it was an earthquake. It turned out to be a hippo from lake Naivasha scratching itself against the house.

Dark reddish-brown ale brewed in the style of a traditional, rustic artisanal French farmhouse ale, Bière de Garde.  Complex flavor profile with a prominent malty sweetness and earthy character.  Goes well with hearty rich foods like steak, roasts, or beef stew.

Dancin' Monks Dubbel Ale (7.2% ABV)

The Colombian Monks in Kenya could really cut it loose during their annual retreat hosted by Del at the Naivasha House
.

Clean, complex malty ale with nutty flavor and plum fruity aroma.  Pair with hearty foods and medium intensity desserts.  Goes great with barbecue or chocolate cake.

Tripel B Tripel Ale (9.3% ABV)

Del was one of those mischievous 1970s men who liked to push social conventions. Del’s college years were intertwined with a whirlwind of girls, parties, road trips and occasional studies.

Spicy and complex with ester/clove aromas, a light straw color and moderate carbonation.  Pair with rich creamy foods like roasts, lobster, and creme brulee.

Naked Nun Wit Ale (5.8% ABV)

Named to mark the time in Colombia Del was robbed including his clothes and underwear while hiking down from the Cerro de Monserrate. After he alerted some local Nuns while hiding behind some sheep, they were kind enough to give him a blanket and bus fare to get home.

Refreshing, soft, and well balanced ale with hints of orange peel and coriander.  Pair with light foods such as mussels, salmon, and chicken.

Black Rhino Dark Ale (5.6% ABV)

Named in honor of the rare Black Rhino Del would hunt during photo safaris in Kenya.  Black Rhino is a dark earthy ale with a hint of Saaz hop spice.

A smooth and easy drinking ale that goes well with salty appetizers, musky cheeses, and wild game dishes.

Philosophizer Saison Ale

Philosophizer was a common term used to describe Del. He often came up with the perfect solution to a complex problem while drinking a beer and watching the sunset. Don’t be surprised when you enter into deep philosophical debates after opening a Philosophizer beer.

Hearty flavorful reddish orange beer with natural spices, clean hops, and a dry finish.  Goes well with chicken, rich fish dishes, camembert, and brie.
